    Los Angeles, CA. USA., September 8, 2001...NAKED BROWN MEN, the new indie Digital feature produced by NBM, LLC in association with Bryan World Productions has just completed principle photography on September 1, 2001. Release date 2002. NAKED BROWN MEN stars Dante' Basco (best remembered as the leader of the Lost Boys "Rufio" in Steven Spielberg's timeless classic HOOK). Also starring are Dante's real life Actor/Singer brothers Derek, Darion and Dion Basco (NBC: City Guys Saturday 8 am,) and hip-hop artist Adam G (Lovechild).

    NAKED BROWN MEN is best described as "A Hip-Hop Comedy stripped down to the Soul." Four Filipino American brothers who are actors and audition against each other for roles in Hollywood, live together. Their crash pad is a revolving door for hot girls and eccentric actor friends. When one of the brothers lands a role, they all sink their money into their fledgling Rap Group "Fly Brown Dragons." Their actor friend/manager (played by Adam G) shops them around to the Record Labels for a record deal, all while crashing on their living room couch. Adam G is the lead singer in his band called "Lovechild" that also plays club gigs with the "Fly Brown Dragons."

A beautiful young girl/groupie "Faith" (played by Hilliary) manages to get between Dante' and Darion and play one against the other using her "gifts" as bait. As a result, comedy and trauma/drama issues erupts in the wake of the 'Fly Brown Dragons' big concert. These friends and brothers work through desire, jealousy, love, hatred, passion for their dreams and music. One of the many twists in this complicated Drama-comedy is that the brothers play themselves in the movie and the film is actually about their "Real Lives." The Basco brothers bare their souls to the naked truth.

Keeping the family together, while being "torn apart at the edges and the core" by outsiders, makes NAKED BROWN MEN a unique and compelling movie experience. "No matter what is thrown at us, we are still brothers!" The soundtrack will feature music from "Fly Brown Dragons" and "Lovechild." NBM is directed and produced by multi-award winning filmmaker Bob Bryan. Richard Olson serves as producer. NBM is written and produced by Adam G and Derek Basco.

"The real question isn't why Hollywood is embracing hip-hop, but what took them so long?" The Basco brothers have often been compared to the musical Jackson's and the actor Baldwin brothers family.

"What a talented family!! They told me after their show, drenched in sweat, that they've been acting since their pre-teens. Still, even in the beginning they started to receive acclaim as a breakdancing group called 'Street Freaks' in the mid 80's. Even now they flex their old breakdancing skills in the middle of their live show, challenging each other to battle. "Growing up in a black neighborhood just as Run DMC and LL Cool J were blowin' up...pretty much defined our personalities. We were weaned on hip hop since we were babies. We are the first Hip-Hop generation."

All four of the Basco brothers Dante, Dion,Darion and Derek and Adam G can sing Dance and act. They are complete entertainers and NAKED BROWN MEN: The Movie brings it all together by showcasing live performances of the Basco Brother' Hip Hop Band, 'Fly Brown Dragons' and Adam G's Hard Rock Hip Hop band, 'Lovechild.'
